Trip to Cadbury World PDF Print E-mail

Parents, children and friends set off very early morning of Saturday December 17 on a trip to Bourneville. We had a wonderful day and it was good to have 'time out' from all the Christmas preparations. Thanks to Lynne and Llinos for organising.

End of Autumn Term events PDF Print E-mail

Our pupils were exceptionally busy at the end of term. We held our Christmas concert, lunch and party at the Church Hall. We are very grateful that the Hall is always so readily available to us, clean, warm and on our doorstep.

All pupils prepared crafts, cards and the customary Christmas cakes.

The older pupils produced Christmas cards on the computers to sell to friends and family. A substantial profit was made and the pupils decided to spend the money on outdoor play equipment. Thanks to everyone who supported this venture.

Dick Whittington Pantomime PDF Print E-mail
We all had a fantastic time when we went to the Pinto at Theatre Clwyd at the end of January. We were enthralled by the set, the costumes, special effects, the acting and singing in this brilliant production. The Friends of the School very generously funded this visit for which we are all grateful.

The Urdd Eisteddfod PDF Print E-mail

The pupils are all busy, as usual preparing all kinds of masterpieces for the Art and Craft section during the after school Craft Club. Best wishes in the Eisteddfod.

P.E. Lessons PDF Print E-mail

For this term only, we are using the Hall at Canolfan Cae Cymro for our dance and gymnastics lessons. This is an experiment and is proving to be successful as the pupils have a large space to practice their skills. Also there is less travelling involved as we used facilities in Corwen for these lessons in the past.
