The pupils will be working on the theme ‘Myself’ and there will be emphasis on keeping healthy. Various guest speakers will be invited to school. The older pupils will look closely at Lesotho, a small country in Africa in their Geography lessons and this will be extended into other subjects e.g. Music and Art.

Clocaenog Area Parents and Toddlers Group |

A new parents and toddlers group will start on the 7th of October. It
will be held at Clocaenog Village Hall every Friday morning during term
time between 9:15am and 11:15am and will be an opportunity for parents
with small children to get to know each other and for their children to
make friends. Sessions will cost £1.50 per family.
Once again, if anyone knows of a family who would be interested in joining the group, please ask them to contact the school.

We aim to promote Healthy Eating in school and try to encourage our pupils to eat more fruit and to drink more water during the day. Each pupil has their own water bottle and fruit is available at each mid morning break. I would like to appeal to children not to bring sweets to school in their lunch boxes. Please support the school with this request.

Oliver Blight has been selected to play rugby for North East Wales under 11’s.

In September’s meeting, Mr Mark Petrie, Cysgod y Graig, Clawddnewydd was re-elected as Chair of Governors and Mrs Amanda Brewer was elected as Vice-chair.
